dr Zuzanna Sarnecka

Adiunkt w Katedrze Historii Sztuki Dawnej. Stopień doktora nauk humanistycznych otrzymała na podstawie rozprawy pt. ‘The Della Robbia and Glazed Devotional Sculpture in the Marche’ przygotowaną na Uniwersytecie w Cambridge pod kierownictwem Profesor Deborah Howard. Ukończyła studia licencjackie na Uniwersytecie w Cambridge w 2011 roku. W 2012 roku uzyskała dyplom magistra z wyróżnieniem w Courtauld Institute of Art w Londynie na podstawie pracy pt. ‘The Identity of Wooden Crucifixes in the Umbrian Renaissance Culture’. W latach 2013-2016 była zatrudniona w pierwszym, humanistycznym projekcie badawczym finansowanym przez European Research Council z puli Synergy Grants pt. Domestic Devotions: The Place of Piety in the Italian Renaissance Home 1400-1600. Przez trzy lata trwania projektu badała dewocyjną sztukę włoską w międzynarodowym zespole działającym na Uniwersytecie w Cambridge. Aktywnie współpracowała przy tworzeniu wystawy ‘Madonnas and Miracles’, która miała miejsce w Fitzwilliam Museum w Cambridge w 2017 roku. W latach 2014-2017 uczestniczyła w projekcie badawczym na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim The Agency of Things New Perspectives on European Art of the Fourteenth–Sixteenth Centuries, finansowanym przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki. Jest członkiem międzynarodowych organizacji ICOM oraz Renaissance Society of America. W 2017 roku otrzymała stypendium START Fundacji na Rzecz Nauki Polskiej. Od stycznia 2019 roku prowadzi badania finansowane przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki (OPUS 15) dotyczące rzeźby terakotowej na terenie Państwa Kościelnego w latach 1450-1550.
