Part-Time Student Services

The general rules for the organization of studies are defined by the Rules and Regulations of Study at the University of Warsaw.

The Head of Part-Time Studies in Art History oversees the organization of the teaching process at the Institute of Art History for both first and second-cycle full-time studies. They also review applications forwarded to the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs regarding repeating a year, conditional completion of a year, resuming studies, recognition of previously studied courses, tuition fees (excluding issues regulated by the study regulations and other applicable laws at the University of Warsaw), and other issues related to the course of studies.

For current issues regarding the progress of part-time studies, such as processing students’ achievement cards confirming their completion of study stages/courses, reviewing applications for conditional enrollment in the next academic year, repeating a year, resuming studies, recognition of credits and exams obtained in other programs as equivalents to credits and exams required in the part-time studies program at the Institute, please contact Ms. Sylwia Wójtowicz: swojtowicz@uw.edu.pl.

Part-time students are serviced at the  Student Affairs Section of the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Culture and Arts. The Dean’s Office handles issues related to applications and decisions of the Dean, tuition fees, student ID cards, their duplicates and extensions, it issues certificates of enrollment, conducts procedures for preparing for the final exam, and diploma collection.

Applications should be submitted through the University Study-Oriented System (USOS) and addressed to the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Culture and Arts, University of Warsaw. It is necessary to generate a PDF file and send it via email with any attachments to the Head of Part-Time Studies. After review, the application will be forwarded to the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, who will make a decision. The response will be entered into USOS.

Payments

Students make payments for educational services (tuition fees, course retakes, and others) to individual accounts available in USOS (under the Payments tab – Outstanding Payments). Fees are applied by the Student Affairs Section of the Dean’s Office beforehand.

All inquiries regarding the course of studies, requests for certificates, and other issues should be sent from university email addresses or those provided during registration in IRK UW.
